yep you read that right. Microsoft has created the worlds largest supercomputer, and its humongous. Consider this
BlueGene/L, the title holder until now has 128K CPU cores, the new supercomputer has 10 million CPU’s  at its disposal at its best. BlueGene has 32 terabytes of Ram, this daemon has 1-10 petabytes. This beast is so huge that it is bigger than the world’s largest 10 supercomputers combined(http://www.top500.org/lists/2007/06).

However there’s a catch. The computer is not really a computer , its a worm ! yep and its called StormWorm. Basically the resources  that StormWorm has at its disposal, makes it bigger than the world largest supercomputer. The worm currently infects 10 million Microsoft windows machines(and growing) and has the ability to use them as a cluster.  At last we now have one windows  in the top 50 supercomputers (45 run linux ).  Thats no mean feat Microsoft, great work. Thanks for creating Windows and giving away the world most powerful machine into the hands of spammers , crackers and terrorists.
